Research interests/experience

  • Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at UCL/Institute of Ophthalmology, the Deputy Programme Lead for the MSc Ophthalmology as well as module lead for the Paediatrics/Strabismus/Neuro-ophthalmology module within the MSc.
  • Paediatric Ophthalmology, with a particular interest in paediatric strabismus and neuro-ophthalmology; paediatric general ophthalmology - all presentations including amblyopia and refractive error management, paediatric blepharitis and allergic eye disease.
  • Adult strabismus - managing the full range of conditions within adult strabismus.
  • Neuro-ophthalmology - the full range of neuro-ophthalmic conditions; working as part of a multidisciplinary team including neurology, neuro-radiology and neurosurgical colleagues.
  • Managing strabismus conditions with an underlying neurological cause and the diagnosis of patients presenting with swollen optic nerves or optic atrophy.
  • Experienced in managing patients with idiopathic intracranial hypertension.
