Mr Alfonso Vasquez-Perez

Mr Alfonso Vasquez-Perez is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital, specialising in cataract, corneal and laser vision correction surgery. He treats a wide range of conditions including keratoconus, Fuchs' dystrophy, and complex corneal transplantation. Mr Vasquez-Perez is the clinical lead for the osteo-odonto-keratoprosthesis (OOKP) Service, a highly specialised treatment available only in a handful centres around the world which restores sight in blind people. Known for his innovative approach and compassionate care, he offers the full range of vision correction including laser eye surgery (LASIK/PRK), implantable contact lenses (ICL) and refractive lens exchange (RLE).
